If I remember rightly Kathryn saw my work only once but asked me straight away if I wanted to photograph her upcoming wedding. Knowing that you take pictures for an artist adds somehow a challenge to the photography – it’s probably only my way of thinking – but you want to get it right (surely you always want to get it right!).
On Sunday we met at the Heath in Petersfield for our pre-wedding photography session. It always amazes me to experience the variety of attitudes some of my brides-to-be can show during the session. One moment Kathryn is smiling with the brightness of a field of summer flowers, the next moment she’s all in love and the next moment she is looking sophisticated as a professional model – and she always looks great (you’re a lucky man John).
