Congratulations to Samantha & Pauls Wedding. I don’t mind it too much when the weather isn’t exactly what my couple had wished for. And Sam & Pauls wedding at The Tithe Barn in Hampshire was again proof that the weather isn’t all and that with the right people the day can be great fun (and it always should be not matter what). In fact, it can create an atmosphere which can be quite intriguing and result in very different type of pictures. In terms of fun and excitement on the day there was nothing to stop family and guests to have a great time. We wish Sam & Paul all the best for their future.

No respect for the photographer…

Donna & Phil Wedding, The Tithe Barn, Hampshire

Congratulations to Donna & Phils wedding. Pink was the colour theme of the day. The bridesmaids, the decoration, the chocolates and even the wall lights in the Tithe Barn were pink. However, Donna the bride came in a bright shiny white dress and Phil had a bright shiny smile on his face. Only the best men suffered from darkish clouds around their heads while preparing their speeches (see pictures below). But it turned out to be great speeches nonetheless. All the best to Donna & Phil for their future.

Gemma & Richard Wedding at The Tithe Barn, Hampshire

This time I’m a bit late with writing my blog entry for Gemma & Richards wedding at The Tithe Barn in Hampshire. Last year I covered Richards sister wedding and it was really nice to meet quite a number of people again – it makes it feel a bit like being part of the family. I like it when the wedding party enjoys itself and in this case it was no exception – everyone had a great time. We wish Gemma & Richard all the best for their future. And here are a few of their wedding images (it’s always sooo difficult to make a selection on not to put dozens on the blog).

Michelle & Phil Wedding, Manor Barn Buriton, Hampshire

Michelle and Phil are boat lovers and I did their pre-wedding shoot at the marina down in Southampton. I’m surprised they didn’t celebrate their wedding on a boat – but I guess it would have had to be a very big one. Anyway, the wedding took place at the Manor Barn in the lovely village of Buriton near Petersfield in Hampshire. And thinking about it I guess it was a wise choice doing the wedding there (as I get easily sea si…unwell). Michelle is a very professional lady but it’s lovely to see how her eyes reveal a little and excited girl while arriving at the church and walking down the aisle. Both had a great day (and I did too). Best wishes to Michelle & Phil.

Melissa & Rob Wedding, Petersfield Hampshire and Amesbury School Sussex

Somehow most of us photographers have always something to complain about the weather and I’m no exception. I just love light (the most important element in photography!) but when it comes in overfull buckets it can sometimes create a challenge (but I love challenges as well!). Melissa & Rob have chosen a very hot day for their hot wedding. With great support from family and friends Melissa & Rob had a fantastic day and we wish both all the very best and lot’s of hot days to come.

Melanie & Paul, Wedding, Froxfield, Petersfield, Hampshire

Melanie and Paul got married in the village church of Froxfield in Hampshire. A perfect setting with lots of bluebells around the church yard. One simply has to take the opportunity and combine the two – bluebells and a beautiful couple. After the church it went in a nice vintage Rolls Royce down to Petersfield Folly Wine Bar. A popular place for all sorts of parties and get togethers. Melanie has all it need to be a great model – that’s why there are so many images of her (no worries, Paul does appear as well). Best wishes to Melanie and Paul.

Charlotte & Rob, Wedding, Manor Barn Buriton, Hampshire

Congratulations to Charlotte and Rob’s wedding. I love working at the Manor Barn in Buriton. It’s a wonderful venue for the couple, guests and me as the photographer. There are so many nice opportunities for doing some lovely shots. Having said that, photographing Charlotte was a real pleasure and she looks stunning no matter where you photograph her. It was a real fun day and I bet Charlotte and Rob will never forget it.

Rebecca & Neil, Wedding, Cowdray Golf Club, Midhurst, West Sussex

Congratulation to Rebecca and Neil’s wedding. The wedding took place in the beautiful St. Mary Church in Easebourne near Cowdray Castle (the church where sometimes celebrities are getting married). Revd Derek Welsman did a lovely celebration with lots of humour and atmosphere – what a great place to get married. After that all met at the golf club to enjoy a fantastic wedding breakfast and a fun day.

Vikki & Anxo, Blessing, Bishops Waltham, Hampshire

I don’t often do blessings but this was quite a special one. Vikki & Anxo got married in Spain earlier this year and unfortunately some of their family and friends couldn’t get to Spain because of the ashes. So why not just have a second marriage – or better blessing – here in England. I think Vikki and Anxo enjoyed it lots to have a second celebration. The service was lovely and very easy going including lighting and blowing out candles. After the church everyone met at the pub for an enormous meal and fun time! Best wishes to Vikki & Anxo.

Gemma & Rob, Wedding at the Tithe Barn, Hampshire

After focusing on some other commitments the wedding season is starting again for me. And what a pleasure to be photographing a lovely couple like Gemma and Rob. Gemma had a fantastic dress and she made a great model. With that many guests it was a good choice to celebrate their wedding in The Tithe Barn in Hampshire. Despite the less good weather forecast it turned out to be dry which is always better as guest are more likely to spend some time outside. This was a kilted wedding and the big (and smaller) boys had lots of fun playing Braveheart while I was trying to get some shots of the boys. We all wish Gemma & Rob a fantastic time ahead.
