Congratulation to Rebecca and Neil’s wedding. The wedding took place in the beautiful St. Mary Church in Easebourne near Cowdray Castle (the church where sometimes celebrities are getting married). Revd Derek Welsman did a lovely celebration with lots of humour and atmosphere – what a great place to get married. After that all met at the golf club to enjoy a fantastic wedding breakfast and a fun day.

What a fun wedding! Emma and Chris are certainly a lively fun couple and their wedding had a great atmosphere. After an emotional ceremony at St Mary Magdalen Church in Sheet Emma and Chris were driven in an old Rolls Royce to the Solent Hotel Whitely in Hampshire. There were a lot of fun activities waiting for the guests like roulette and blackjack, a caricaturist and a chocolate fountain. For the girls a running theme of the day was what was under Chris’s kilt. Have a look at the last picture in this blog – can you guess who it is?

This wedding was certainly different. Rebecca and Graham got married in the tiny St John’s Church in Farley, Chamberlain, build in the middle of the 12th century. Very special indeed and it was really cosy with about 130 guests streaming into the church. The rain after the ceremony was actually quite refreshing. Driving back with a nice car the reception was held at a private ground near Romsey. A lot of hard work had gone into preparing the venue which was where Rebecca grew up and it was a beautiful place to celebrate their marriage surrounded by wheat fields and countryside. A big tent was set up in the garden and it felt like walking on a boat as the ground was so slopy. The first thing you saw after entering the venue was a ice cream van – which was very popular with all ages. The old stables were converted into a bar and darts room and there was a first for me….Morris Men dancing at the reception! Great fun and Rebecca and Graham joined in (Graham of course wanting a larger stick before he was happy). The atmosphere was fantastic – no one really bothered about the rain and why should they – it was Rebecca and Graham’s great day and there was plenty of fun and ice cream.
