…the most romantic day of the year! This is a great opportunity to have a chat with me and see my latest wedding photography work. You can also touch, feel and smell a selection of the type of wedding books I can offer you (you would obviously have your own wedding images in them at some point)! The Bridal Showcase Wedding Fair is on Sunday 14th February, at the Farnham Maltings in Surrey , the entry is free and it is open between 11am-4pm. I look forward to seeing you there.
Congratulations on Simon and Chris’s Civil Partnership. I was delighted when Simon approached me to photograph his Civil Partnership with Chris. On the day I joined them at Michelin star JSW restaurant in Petersfield where they were preparing for the reception. We then walked to the ceremony and Simon and Chris were joined by a close group of family and friends. It was a pleasure to photograph their Civil Partnership at Petersfield Register Office. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun and this continued at the reception back at JSW. I really liked the 2 grooms by the cake …. and cleverly they really did look like Simon and Chris!
Clare and Scott’s wedding was a real family affair with their three boys, the youngest, Ewan, being only a few months old. I joined Clare at the fantastic Cain Manor wedding venue in Hampshire which is a really beautiful setting for a wedding celebration. Clare and her beautiful bridesmaids were very relaxed and they had a lot of fun especially when a chair I was sitting on collapsed while I was taking photos! I think I need to cut back on the mince pies! Clare and Scott both relaxed into their day and you can see how much they enjoyed themselves.
What a beautiful winter wedding (though without snow!). Jemma looked absolutely gorgeous in her fabulous dress and white stole (matching the wedding cake – or was it the other way round?). She made a wonderful model (I think she has missed her true vocation!). I joined Jemma with her friends and parents at the Park House Hotel in Bepton near Midhurst while she was getting ready and as usually happens it was a rush to get her dress on in time! We then went to the ceremony at the Tithe Barn, Ditcham, Hampshire which is one of my favourite wedding venues. The barn was beautifully decorated and the whole wedding had a really happy and fun atmosphere. I think the majority of their guests were from their canoeing club which seems to be a good place to meet your life partner judging by the amount of couples (and babies). We wish Jemma and Andrew all the best for their future.
On what must have been the windiest day this year Karen and Martin got married at the Tithe Barn in Hampshire. I joined Karen at the Goodwood Park Hotel where she prepared herself with her close friends and Mum. Guess what, the girls always have a lovely time at the prep and get carried away until mum reminds the bride to get the dress on – and as most times the dress is put on at the last minute.
Karen and Martin had a big wedding with over 160 guests and getting them all outside in the wind for a group shot was a bit tricky but they were game in the end. Occasionally some parents had to run after their little ones as they were blown away by the wind – not kidding. Some special guests arrived a little later – Karen and Martins two beautiful dogs – who joined them for some outside shots. Actually thinking of it, Karen you have been so careful with your dress but when the dogs came you were right on the ground – I can tell you really love your dogs. He Martin watch out!
